HEAT REFLECTIVE PAINTS

About our product

Our membranes are highly durable and flexible, allowing it to move with the substrate, they fill and bridge hourline cracks, they can be applied to a wide variety of substrate such as brick, concrete, wood, tilt panel, any metal or tiles and asbestos, and is available in a range of colours.  It increases the life span of the substrate and is environmentally friendly.

Clients in extreme and normal conditions are still reporting substantial reductions in energy cost, after coating their roofs and walls upto 10 years ago.

Independent testing by engineering firms and energy saving consultants, fr0om 1986 onwards, has confirmed what these clients had found through experience.  In practical tests, these products consistently recorded a 30% to 60% savings in air conditioning cost.

Cost reductions such as these often mean that the product has paid for itself in energy savings within the first year.

Remember…The hotter it gets the better it works.

Five Reasons Why You Should Use StayCool To Reduce The Heat In Your Building Or Home

1. StayCool Will Reduce The Internal Temperature Of Your Building

Staycool apply insulating coating to any type of walls, reflecting 98% of the heat load, away from the surface, instead of transferring it in the building and is proven to be more effective, in reducing internal temperatures, than most other forms of insulation. While there are other heat reflecting paints on the market, most of these use ceramic bead fillers to create their insulating quality. For a variety of reasons, ceramic beads don’t perform as well as our exclusive plant fibre formula, which has proven to reduce internal temperatures of any buildings by 6 to 20 degrees average. Our products are approved for government use and is supplied for many Council, and Departments of Housing and works projects.

2. StayCool Will Save You Money On Your Air Conditioning Costs

Whether it be a private home, or an industrial workshop, StayCool coated surfaces, significantly reduce the load and power requirements of air conditioning systems. Clients in both extreme and normal weather conditions continue to report substantial reductions in energy costs, after coating their buildings. Power consumption tests, at Karratha in 1990 by AE. Smith Engineering, recorded 30% to 60% savings. This means the coating will pay for itself in electricity costs savings within the first few years.

3. StayCool Looks Good

StayCool can apply paint in 18 different colours giving you the final choice of what will best suit your home or building. In most cases we can also colour match to your specifications. Suitable Primers are manufactured for any surfaces including the following. All Tiles/Asbestos/Any Metal/All Concrete Surfaces/ Tilt Panel/Wood and most other materials.

4. Will Work Effectively For 10 to 20 years

StayCool continues to work effectively every year with insulating fibres that can’t break down and are protected by the 100% Styrene Acrylic Resin, well known to be superior, to all other acrylic resins in strength, durability and flexibility.  Completely impervious to airborn pollution and extreme weather conditions, non-flammable/non-toxic/no hazardous fibres.  Water proof, but at the same time microporous, allowing all substrates to breathe, and avoid the expansion and contraction, cracking noises.

5. StayCool Is Time Tested And Proven To Work

After 23 years of commercial success, StayCool chosses the best quality products that have stood the test of time.  Australian made and invented in 1986, manufactured to Australian Standards AS/NZS ISO.9001.2000.  Tested by the University of NSW. Professor H.J. Goldsmid in July 1987 and many research consulting firms, with all of them agreeing, that the coating has exceptional heat reducing and energy saving properties.

StayCool use resins which are completely imperious to airborn pollution and extreme weather conditions and is also non-flammable, non-toxic and contains no hazardous microporous, allowing the substrate to breathe, avoiding cracking in ceiling, masonry, or render, and saving money as long term maintenance cost.
